The moment I saw this delicious teal Australian sapphire I knew I had to have her, the colour is reminiscent of the pastel sea foam green of the ocean at sunset. This unique precious gem came into my life at a time when we were rushing into Wategos after work to catch the golden hour of surf when the sunset casts a glow over the distant mountains and everything turns into a magical array of colour. The design is inspired by these precious moments in the ocean and is set with a wave of diamonds that flow around the band and underneath the sapphire. The 18ct yellow gold band is set with gradient of natural sunset coloured sapphires that wrap around and hug the centre stone. I love this piece, it's the perfect ring for mermaids.
